Tariro Mzezewa

Hi. I’m a journalist based in Paris.

I write about travel, style, and culture for various publications, including the New York Times, the Cut, Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue, and more. I’m the host of Peak Travel, a podcast from WHYY and NPR Podcasts about how travel shapes communities in popular locations around the world.

I previously worked as a national correspondent, travel reporter, staff editor and researcher at the New York Times. I’ve also contributed to the Style, Books, and Politics sections of the paper.

I’m the winner of numerous of journalism awards for travel, feature, and multimedia reporting. I’m an alumna of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and John Cabot University in Rome, Italy.
